You may be wondering why you are here. Surely you were searching for something that led you here, perhaps a window to this place opened and you came through or perhaps you fell down a rabbit hole and woke up painting this page red. Whatever has brought you here and how can only be explained by you but I do hope that no matter how you got here you will enjoy your stay.

What is Infurnace you ask? Infurnace is one of four kingdoms in the story Web of Souls. It will serve as an antagonistic kingdom within the story and is still under construction but the name seems to have found a place in my heart and clung to it. This blog will cover all portions of the Web of Souls project. Every success and failure of this project will likely be shared here as well as up first information and updates on progress.

working hard or hardly working

long time no update. I need to fix that don't I? On the work front things are slow and grinding at best. I'm likely to take a break for a bit when I have a chance though no promises on anything pretty and shiny. Something awfully amazing that has been keeping my hopes of working up has been reading myths a friend of mine has been writing. I find a measure of consolation in using cliches and breathing new life into older concepts but I also firmly believe in giving one's own spin to things. As such I already know what direction I'm taking Web of Souls but I'm more worried about how I can execute it to make it come out properly.

I suppose time will only tell how well I am and how much I get done. Right now I'll be relaxing and trying to draw ideas together so I can weave the magic I hope to make with the story. Peace.

Infurnian: Any of the various species that lives within the land of Infurnace. Almost all species native to the lands have an affinity or immunity to fire while others are pure flame elementals. Common races among the Infurnian population include: Dragons, demons, phoenixes, imps, hell cats, and ifrits.

Infurnace: A land that is settled deep within a bowl of the fae world's surface. The castle of the land is carved into a volcano surrounded upon the back side by a massive mountain range. While pools of magma can be found almost anywhere in Infurnace solid land can sometimes be difficult to come by.

Royal Family:
King: Fudo- name meaning: god of fire and wisdom
Queen: Akako- name meaning: Red
Prince: Tomi- name meaning: Rich/twin

Infurnace is ruled by a family of hell lions

Infurnace is often called the Sword Kingdom, Fire Kingdom or Flame Empire and relates to the suit of swords in the minor arcana of most tarot decks.

Infurnians most often pride themselves on strength and brute force almost equally as those among them who cannot fight prize a razor wit.

Other Kingdoms

Durayn- Kingdom of cups: surrounded by marshlands, lakes and ocean beach. The castle is a giant and ever shape changing scape of sand. Water element.

Gilturn- Kingdom of coins: surrounded by forests, hills, and meadows. The Floral palace is a giant flowering shrub the size of which each flower can be used to house a small family or a single person. Earth element.

Faerwynd- Kingdom of wands: surrounded by mountains and high peaks, some mountains float freely above the original Mountain castle while the rest are riddled with tunnels and caves.

An extensive and highly enchanted labyrinth separates this kingdom from the others by land and makes approach impossible while F5 scale winds divide the sky from the other kingdoms. It is enshrouded within a never ending tornado, the eye of the storm at the kingdom's heart. No one can enter or exit unless guided by an artifact granted only by the king of wands. The labyrinth is bespelled in countless ways to ensure that no one can make it through unless the king of wands allows it.
